Fantastic Week Four

On Monday we went to St John training. First we learnt about the DRSABC which stands for danger, response, send for help, airway, breathing and CPR. Next we learnt about severe bleeding in which case you would put pressure on the wound and elevate. After that we were taught to put a bandage over a severe cut to keep pressure on it. Next we learnt to sling an arm in an elevated position.

Apart from that we finished publishing our 'I Wish That I Had Duck Feet' poems, here are some examples: crocodile teeth, bird wings and cheetah legs.

Congratulations to everyone who made it to zones cross-country and even more to Beth, Ella, Jordyn, Alice and Estella who made it to Canterburys.

Also this week is our last session of choir and we will be starting kapa haka with Rooms 25 and 23.

Another thing is that the Year 6s finished cycle safety. At cycle safety they learned all the basics before going on the road.

That sums up Week Four. Have a great weekend!
