We have had a fantastic start to term 2 we are going to tell you what we have been doing so far!
The cross country was really fun . Everybody put in great effort to finish the cross country. Everyone who came 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and 6th will be going to zones whoever came 7th is the reserve for zones. so congratulations to everybody who ran in the cross country!!!
This week we have started AVAILLL to help us with our reading comprehension. The year 6 movie is Hoot and we have done surprise subtitles and the word hunt one. The year 5s are watching Hook and they are really enjoying it because they have never done AVAILLL before and AVAILLL is really fun.
Last Wednesday we had the water ignition day. There were so many activities that lots of groups did not get to finish the activities. We did all kinds of activities like a water blaster aiming contest, a sponge contest and so on.
Last week in writing we started our postcards. We write a holiday recount but in post card style. We write to somebody at home or at school. If we didn't know the address we could make it up we designed our own stamp and now we are doing our front picture.
