The amazing book week!

This week was awesome because it was book week we did lots of fun activities and lots of visitors here's what happened this week:

On Monday it was dress up as your favourite book character day.
We had a parade and the most common thing that people went as was a witch. The prize for the best dressed was a book there were two winners from each class. Mia, Grace and Myah won from our class.

On Tuesday Craig Smith came and sung us ten of his songs his newest song was square eyes. Margaret his helper dressed up as a kea from one of his songs and also a monkey. Beth was a monkey too. People got puppets and nipped and tickled the audience.

On Wednesday we had the book olympics our class came first. Jordyn Beth Ella Estella and Alice went to Canterbury Cross Country from our class .

Yesterday our class did a book swap. We gave Miss Falkner 1-3 books and she gave us a token per book then we swapped the token for a new book. It was awesome because we got new books without having to pay! Dale (a parent from Room 21) also read us his book that he wrote when he was sixteen and his sons Jessie and Max did the illustrations.

We had a really busy and exciting week .

Even though it was a short week, it was a busy week. We did two things for our report. We did a writing sample  and portrait of ourselves, they look excellent.

We started AVAILLL again, yay AVAILLL. If you don't know what AVAILLL is it is when we watch a movie with subtitles and do activities to do with the movie.

Mrs Glasson came on Tuesday we learnt about water pollution so don't litter or the water will get really polluted. We did an activity were we had to draw a fresh lake and a polluted lake

On Wednesday we did fun writing where we had to pick three numbers between one and twelve the fist one would give us a character the second a setting and the third a problem some of them were really hard and some were easy .
