Week Six Superstars

We all knew this week was going to be great but tiring.

We started the week by finding out what math and reading group we were in. After that we went for a swim.

On Tuesday we found out that we no longer have swimming on Tuesday because of turbo touch what the class had a great time at turbo touch. We also finished off our goal setting too.

Now on to Wednesday the start of the interviews. We also reached the very exciting chapter of the novel.

On Thursday we had no milk because of school finishing really early because of interviews again.
Now it is Friday every one is excited about sport and sausages yum.

Today we are doing communication writing. We hope you love your children's writing.

Also we are going to have a great weekend and are looking forward to a great Week Seven.

Dance!

We have been doing some dance work on Fridays. Here you see us creating frozen pictures with our bodies, thinking about where the audience is, the different levels in the picture, and how we relate to each other in the picture.

Water Week 5

This week St Albans was knee-high in water. We thought that it was going to rain more after the 3 nights that went by. In that time most people couldn't come to school because it was way too flooded in their neighbourhood.

Anyway, in class time, the teacher has been reading a very interesting novel called "The Mysterious Benedict Society" for the past few weeks. Every body has been enjoying this unusual book and are looking forward to hearing more.

Swimming sports have happened quite recently and most people who went got into the finals of their races and we also did really well in the class relays. This is a picture of our relay team!

Kahurangi (blue house) have been doing current events for oral language this week. The events presented have been very entertaining. For example Bradley's event was about Prince George coming to New Zealand.

Room 27 has had a wonderful week and we are looking forward to next week.

You can see some of us here doing yoga on a Friday afternoon, learning about being able to manage stress and calm our minds and bodies down when we need to.
