Week 7: Spectacular!

This week has been very busy. On Monday there was kapa haka festival at Horncastle Arena. In the morning the people in kapa haka went to the arena for a dress rehearsal. Then at five 'o'clock they came back to school, got changed and went to the arena to perform. All the kapa haka people said it was really fun and they had a good time.

On Wednesday we started an inquiry project about modern learning environments. We designed our own classroom based about how we like to learn, some people had lots of desks some people only had a couple of desks. There were certain things that we had to put in like a mat space, the library shelves, the blue shelves, the computer desk,  the long table with the blue cover, the small teacher whiteboard etc. We also wrote a couple of sentences about where we like to work and how many people we like to work with.

On Thursday for writing we wrote like and dislike lists. We wrote things that we like and dislike some of the options were foods, drinks, numbers, books, movies, animals, places, games, days and month. We will use it to give us ideas when we do free writing.

A couple of weeks ago we started inquiry projects about innovations. Some people will be presenting theirs next Wednesday and Thursday.

Thanks for reading our blog about Week 7 we hope you liked it. See you next week!
